This is an awesome book. I love the characters and look forward to reading the entire series. Real crime and police work.
This was a great start to the Series. Well written with an enticing plot and engaging characters. Very excited to read the Series.
But I do not like serial killer reading, or tortured reading, so I am not pursuing the rest of this series.
The plot, characters and setting is well developed. The story line keeps you wanting more, so I'm always looking forward to the following week to see what LaShea has in store for the characters. There is always a surprise. The only reason I gave four instead of five stars is because at times it gets a bit confusing as to who is actually talking and the sentences at times run together. This is not a consistent occurrence but it does get confusing. But even this small detail does not detract from the story itself. Its a great read and I will keep following the weeks until the end.

I have now read weeks 1-6 (and just purchased week 7). The characters are very real, the crimes a little grisly, the villain dispicable. I can't wait to continue reading! I Want to learn more about Beck's past (and Williams'), and learn how they finally catch the uber-villain! Well done, R.A. LaShea!
